Lot Information

Lot 1

REQUIREMENT - The UK MOD wishes to increase the capability of the future cars and van white fleet through a trial of innovative energy sources using renewable energy fuelled BEV chargers and suitable hydrogen vehicle refueller at HMNB Devonport, Plymouth. There may also be a semi mobile aspect of the trial, on the concept of how a diesel generator might be used at a temporary site. The installed equipment, logistic support for the trial and any potential follow-on activity will be an experiment to gain understanding of the use of such technology and inform any follow-on associated fleet activity. This early engagement has been produced to present the MoD requirement. We are also looking to link this system with a Hydrogen fuel cell passenger car refueller. The tender process will be conducted on the VCIS CCS frameworks which uses a Dynamic Purchasing System. Simply this requirement is to trial 1-3 hydrogen electricity generators and a refueler units at a MOD site. One of these units must be portable. Additionally, there will be a requirement to supply hydrogen.
