Notice Description

As of July 2024, National Energy System Operator Limited (NESO) will no longer be a part of the National Grid group, resulting in the need to separate what are currently shared processes and functions. The strategic decision has been made that NESO shall deliver its payroll services through a Managed Service Provider (MSP), and we are therefore seeking a world class leader to manage this process for our growing number of employees (currently ~2000 staff increasing to ~2500 by 2025). The scope of the project will encompass the following activities: The design and blueprinting of a solution that adheres to IT policy, including DR&S (Digital Risk and Security) and controls compliance. To ensure any solution aligns with longer term IT strategy. To provide the design of a fully integrated solution with other IT components and that of 3rd parties. To ensure all remaining data can be suitably managed (archived/migrated) To ensure plans are in place to ensure a seamless migration will minimally impact to end users. To design a world class solution that allows flexibility and is dynamic by nature. To design a simplified and more automated solution, enhancing customer experience by providing an intuitive, user-friendly gateway. To ensure state of the art reporting and auditing capabilities. To enable rationalisation and the future streamlining of process. To ensure the required level of controls can be applied to assure UK compliance and business controls including business assurance; compliance; risk management; prevention of financial crime; business continuity; internal audit: ISO27001 - Information security management ISO27017 - Cloud services security ISO27018 - Personally Identifiable Information (PII) cloud services security SOC1 Type II - Customer financial reporting internal controls.
