Provision of library services in Suffolk from 45 static locations and community outreach to meet the statutory requirements of the Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964. Services required include access to printed and digital resources to meet the Universal Libraries offer, assisting in reading and digital literacy, learning and skills development, cultural and creative enrichment, helping everyone to achieve their full potential, leading healthier and happier lives, increasing prosperity and building stronger, more resilient communities. Public consultation took place between October 2023 and January 2024 to gather views on community needs, both present and future, with the aim of shaping the services accordingly. The current contract for the provision of Library services will end on 31 May 2025.Providers interested in this contract are encouraged to make early contact to discuss their information needs and areas for negotiation.A market engagement event will take place on 18 April 2024.
