Contract Strategy A single stage procurement will be undertaken via the issuance of an Invitation to Tender (ITT). The form of contract will be a NEC4 Option C (Target Cost with Activity Schedule) including a reasonable Gain/Pain share mechanism. The contract will also include Z Clause amendments to ensure suitable risk apportionment between the parties. Ground Investigation/Planning Position Nexus have carried out the Ground Investigation for the Western Quay which is the new location for the Ferry Landing and jetty extension. The report from this investigation will be issued as part of the Invitation to Tender. The client has obtained planning permission for the outline design. This approval signifies that the project aligns with local regulations and landuse policies. The client has also secured an MMO license, which is essential for any marine-related activities.",
