Notice Description

Network Rail is reviewing potential options to procure a framework or other contracting arrangement for the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects within the Eastern Region (predominantly, but not limited to, services and works relating to enhancements and/ or major programmes of works). This initial engagement event seeks to inform the market of our indicative intentions and objectives. In addition, it seeks to receive feedback from interested parties on a range of indicative proposals, to help Network Rail develop its thinking in this area. Depending on responses and other internal/ external factors, further market engagement sessions may follow on from this event. Your feedback will help inform Network Rail on how best to develop potential procurement events to deliver complex and multidisciplinary projects in Eastern. For clarity, this market engagement IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION and your participation or otherwise in this event will not have any impact on any future, potential bidding opportunities. Whilst we will be sharing information to help gauge market interest, this is done with best intentions and is not a guarantee that a procurement event will be launched following this engagement, and we reserve the right to use other routes to market.

The briefing will be virtual (Microsoft Teams) and will be held on Thursday 23rd May 2024 at 13:00 GMT for approximately 1hr 30. If you would like to attend the virtual briefing, please use the Bravo messaging facility to register your interest and receive details of the Microsoft Teams event. During the event you will be asked to provide the Name and Email Address of the Key Contact of your Organisation (the nominated person will be responsible for completing a post market engagement questionnaire on behalf of your organisation, this must only be one person per organisation). This does not preclude several members of the same organisation from registering and attending the market engagement event. For clarity, we only wish to receive one supplier questionnaire per organisation in the post-market engagement phase. A supplier questionnaire will be available to complete following the event to obtain specific feedback on the proposals shared. Any questions or clarifications in respect of this request for information should be addressed to easternframeworks@networkrail.co.uk Further notes on this PIN: In Section II.1.5), the Estimated Total Value figure is a mandatory field and so the nominal figure of PS1 has been inserted. The information we gather from this market engagement may inform any future approach, which will confirm an estimated figure for the framework at the relevant time. While details as to the type of services and works, estimated value, duration and Lots which are mandatory fields in the online form have not been specified in this notice, they will be confirmed if and when any subsequent contract notice may be issued.
