Nottinghamshire County Council ("the council") is seeking to establish a list of providers who can deliver wraparound childcare using a light touch regime style dynamic purchasing system (DPS). The provider list will be used primarily by local authority-maintained schools looking to appoint a provider to deliver before and after school childcare (wraparound) either on the school site or at another setting, however free schools and academies within Nottinghamshire can also utilise the provider list. Providers that are successful in demonstrating that they are able to meet the council' standards, as set out in the service specification, will be added to the provider list and will be subsequently invited to bid by schools for wraparound childcare provision

Nottinghamshire County Council ("the council") is seeking to establish a list of providers who can deliver wraparound childcare using a light touch regime style dynamic purchasing system (DPS). The provider list will be used primarily by local authority-maintained schools looking to appoint a provider to deliver before and after school childcare (wraparound) either on the school site or at another setting, however free schools and academies within Nottinghamshire can also utilise the provider list. Providers that are successful in demonstrating that they are able to meet the council' standards, as set out in the service specification will be added to the provider list and will be subsequently invited to bid by schools for wraparound childcare provision. All external providers must apply to a provider list in order to be invited to bid for a licence to deliver provision on behalf of a primary, infant or junior school. The Provider List will become active on the 1st of September 2024. The list will continue for the following two academic school years and will end on the 31st of August 2026. This is a new competitive procurement process using an open procedure conducted in accordance with the light touch regime of the Public Procurement 2015 Regulations and advertised in the Find a Tender Service Find high value contracts in the public sector - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) This opportunity can be accessed via the East Midlands Tenders portal https://www.eastmidstenders.org/ Reference DN723621 The closing date for all applications to the provider list is at 17:00 hours on the 24th of June 2024. Additional information: There are no extensions to the Provider List.
