Notice Description
Legal Service Framework is a collaboration published by Surrey County Council, Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, West Sussex County Council, and the associated Districts and Boroughs. The Framework Agreement consists of multiple Lots. The term is 3 years plus a 1 year optional extension (total 4 year term).
Lot Information
Lot 1: Legal Services for Adult Social Care
Transactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Adult Social Care.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 2: Legal Services for PensionsTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Pensions.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 3: Legal Services for SEN Tribunals & EducationTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under SEN Tribunals and Education.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 4: Legal Services for Commercial Law, Contracts & Procurement, Telecoms & IT Law, Construction LawTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Commercial Law, Contracts and Procurement, Telecoms and IT Law, Construction Law.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 5a FOI GDPR Information LawTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under FOI, GDPR and Information Law.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 5b Monitoring Officer, Local Government LawTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Monitoring Officer and Local Government Law.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 6a Highways, Planning and EnvironmentTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Highways, Planning and Environment.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 6b Property and HousingTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Property and Housing.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 7a: EmploymentTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Employment.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 7 b: Civil, Criminal, Environmental Health, Licencing & Housing, and Contentious ConstructionTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Civil, Criminal, Environmental Health, Licencing & Housing, and Contentious Construction.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 8: Legal Counsel/Advocacy Services for Lots 1-7Counsel/Advocacy legal support and advice in a variety of areas/specialisms under Lots 1-7
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 9a: Legal Services for Children's Social Care - Part A - Transactional Case WorkTransactional casework legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Children's Social Care.
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
Lot 9b: Legal Services for Children's Social Care - Part B - Counsel/AdvocacyCounsel/Advocacy legal support and advice in a variety of areas under Children's Social Care

Lot 10: Legal Services for Costs LawyerA range of Costs Lawyer Services, allowing Framework Customers to meet changing demands and supplement any in-house capability.

Lot 11: Legal Services for Loss AdjustersAccess to Liability Claims Loss Adjusters and Property Loss Adjusters
Renewal: The Framework will be for a period of three (3) years plus one (1) year optional extension period, at the Council's discretion.
