Notice Description

The University requires a contractor to design, build and install a 2.5MW air source heat pump heat energy network (the Heat Energy Network) to service the University's campus buildings at De Montfort University. The contractor will be required to provide an Energy Centre building which will be capable of containing all equipment for a 3.5MWth system (allowing for future expansion). The HV transformer shall be sized to provide 2500kVA. Full details of the University's requirements can be found in the Employer's Requirements documentation provided as part of the procurement documents.It is anticipated the works will commence in October 2024 and that the construction works will be completed by October 2026 with a further 2 years to undertake required seasonal commissioning and completion
