The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is seeking a single contractor to undertake a series of capital projects at our Colindale site. These projects, which need to be completed by March 2025, cover a range of general works including maintenance, health and safety improvements, security enhancements, facility upgrades, and equipment refurbishments. The aim of this PIN is to carry out market survey is to identify qualified contractors capable of delivering these projects efficiently and to gather relevant market information.<br/><br/>The General works consist of:<br/><br/>1) Colindale - Health and Safety Works: Enhancing physical Health and Safety measures to comply with statutory obligations, mitigate risks associated with health and safety hazards (e.g., asbestos), and avoid legal and reputational damage.<br/><br/>2) Colindale - Fire Door Upgrade: Upgrading non-compliant fire doors to enhance fire safety, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce insurance costs, and create a safer working environment.<br/><br/>3) Colindale - RAAC Removal/Upgrade: Proactively mitigating RAAC collapse risks to ensure safety, demonstrate responsible building management, comply with future regulations, and safeguard laboratory infrastructure.<br/><br/>4) Colindale - 7 facet service work: Refurbishing and upgrading laboratories and office spaces to comply with COSHH Regulations and ACDP Guidance, mitigating significant risks such as operational shutdowns, fines, and reputational damage.<br/><br/>5) Colindale - Laboratory Accommodation Works: Optimizing office space utilization to improve space efficiency, enhance employee comfort and productivity, and reduce overall office footprint, leading to cost savings.<br/><br/>6) Colindale - Containment Level 3 Upgrades: Upgrading high containment laboratories to CL3 standards to ensure compliance with safety regulations and mitigate risks associated with handling hazardous materials.<br/><br/>7) Colindale - Laboratory Refurbishments: Enhancing UKHSA's response to pathogen incidents by establishing specialized sequencing space and laboratories, improving diagnostic capabilities and ensuring public health and safety.<br/><br/>8) Colindale - Generator Replacement: Replacing aging generators to ensure reliable emergency power, maintain operational continuity, and improve emergency preparedness.<br/><br/>9) Colindale - Site Electrical equipment and distribution upgrade<br/><br/>10) Colindale - Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade: Upgrading electrical infrastructure to ensure reliability, safety, compliance with current standards, prevent downtime, and mitigate potential risks associated with outdated infrastructure.<br/><br/>11) Colindale - Mechanical & Electrical equipment and works: Refurbishing and upgrading critical M&E equipment to ensure operational efficiency, minimize downtime, promote safety, and extend the longevity of the building's infrastructure.<br/><br/>We kindly ask that you complete our short supplier survey:<br/>https://forms.office.com/e/28UaV1syVd
