    "description": "This Periodic Indicative Notice (PIN) does not constitute a call for competition to procure any works or repair services. This notice is issued solely for the purpose of undertaking market engagement to gauge capability and interest in the market to assist in our decision making prior to the commencement of the procurement process. Parties will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to this request and a response to this PIN does not guarantee any invitation to participate in this event or any future procurement. If you have experience of any of the works as described above, we invite you to participate in our market engagement process by registering your interest via the emails below by 17:00pm on Friday 19th July 2024. DCC may contact organisations who have submitted fully completed questionnaires to arrange one-to-one meetings in July, the timings of which will be mutually agreed. Please note, whilst information in this PIN and Information Memorandum describes DCC's current view of how it is minded to proceed. Interested parties should note that the positions set out in this PIN, and any content within the Information Memorandum remain subject to change and will not necessarily reflect the position as at the issue of the Contract Notice. DCC is currently reviewing the precise structure, and nature of works to be undertaken, to both enhance, maintain and extend its current wastewater network assets. The main areas of works are split into 4 separate Lots as follows: Lot 1 North Wales Wastewater Network Repair & Maintenance & Network Operating Services The Services to include but not limited to the following: * Wastewater network apparatus repair and maintenance. * 24/7 standby service. * Planning and scheduling provision. * On-site investigation works. * Sewer rehabilitation * Working on or near pressurised pipelines. * Wastewater network operating services. * Cyclic desilting activity. * CCTV investigation. * Response to flooding and pollution incidents. * Maintenance and minor repairs of mechanical screens. Lot 2 - Hereford, Powys & Gwent Wastewater Network Operating Services The Services to include but not limited to the following: * Wastewater network operating services. * 24/7 standby service. * Planning and scheduling provision. * Cyclic desilting. * CCTV investigation. * Response to flooding and pollution incidents. * Maintenance and minor repairs of mechanical screens. * Minor sewer rehabilitation.
