Notice Description
Tenders were invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from Suppliers appointed to the Roofing Framework (KMCHNPS-015 - Lot 2) with relevant experience and ability for (the "Works") as detailed in the Further Competition documents. Flat Roofing Scheme 5 was tendered in this competition: Centenary Way, Batley, WF17 8LY.
Lot Information
Pitched Roofing and Roofline work
Flat roofing works to be carried out on residential properties of varying archetypes including low-rise flats, houses and bungalows. This flat roofing programme is for the renewal of flat roofs to properties at Centenary Way, Batley, North Kirklees.
Renewal: The anticipated commencement date is 1st October 2024, with an initial term of 24 months and an option to extend this twice. The Contract term shall not exceed 48 months.
Flat Roofing ReplacementsUnder this Framework the majority of the Roofing Works are to be carried out on residential properties across the Borough on homes of varying archetypes including low-rise flats, houses, and bungalows. In addition, there is a requirement for roofline works (Gutters, Facias and Soffits) minor roof works and roofing repairs. There is a reroof mixture of pitched and flat roofs using a variety of slates and tiles on pitched roofs and various design and build flat roof systems. Annually there are approximately 300 properties requiring roofing works located across the district. Lot 2 is for Flat Roofing Replacements.

Garden Estate (North)Roofing Works to residential properties of varying archetypes including low-rise flats, houses and bungalows. This pitched roof programme is split into 4 schemes and covers properties in North and South Kirklees. Scheme 2 covers the Garden Estate area of North Kirklees.
Cottage Homes (South)Roofing Works to residential properties of varying archetypes including low-rise flats, houses and bungalows. This pitched roof programme is split into 4 schemes and covers properties in North and South Kirklees. Scheme 3 covers the Cottage Homes area of South Kirklees.
