Summary of the contracting process

East Ayrshire Council is re-opening the EALEP Trusted Partner Framework to allow new providers to tender as part of a contracting process for the provision of education and training services. This tender, titled "Re-Opening of EALEP Trusted Partner Framework," aims to secure services catering to all age groups and to offer person-centred support to help individuals enter and sustain employment. This procurement falls under the services category and is intended to be delivered within the localities of East Ayrshire, Scotland (UKM93 region). Initially issued in October 2023 and re-issued in October 2024, the framework invites training providers, the third sector, and other organisations to submit their tenders. The deadline for submissions is 26 August 2024 at 12:00 PM.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for business growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) experienced in providing training and employment support services. The re-opening of the framework, valued at GBP 10.5 million, seeks partners who can deliver needs-based and person-centred employability services. Businesses specialising in vocational training, specialist training services, and personal development training services will find this framework particularly beneficial. By participating, firms can enhance their reputation, expand their service offerings, and contribute towards reducing child poverty and promoting inclusion and social justice in East Ayrshire, creating a fair and prosperous Scotland.
