Notice Description

This proposal for Insurance and Associated Services is an amalgamation of the previous CPC Insurance and Associated Services for Colleges, and Insurance and Associated Services for Academies and Schools. Any resulting framework from this exercise will be available to all further education institutions, universities, sixth forms, academies, schools, museums and other similar organisations who are current and future CPC members https://www.thecpc.ac.uk/members/regions.php https://www.gov.uk/guidance/get-information-about-schools. Local Authorities may wish to use the resulting framework when procuring on behalf of Educational Establishments.

Lot Information

Lot 1: Insurance and Associated Services for Colleges

This lot will be to provide members with college insurance covers which includes but are not limited to: * Loss of or damage to any property including IT equipment, money, refrigerated/frozen food, property in transit * Works of art insurance * Loss due to dishonesty of employees or crime by third parties * Loss or damage to contract works * Loss or damage caused by terrorism * Employers liability * Public and products liability * Governors and officers liability * Libel and slander * Professional liability * Hirers liability * Cyber liability * Personal accident * Business and student travel * Legal expenses and employment practices liability * Motor, motor trade, motor sport and occasional business use * Damage to plant and engineering plant inspection services, marine and aviation * Agriculture

Options: 48 month(s) from the commencement date, with 36 initial month(s) and option to extend 1x12 month(s)

Lot 2: Academies and Schools Comprehensive Insurance Cover & Service Provision

Members will be able to obtain Comprehensive Commercial Insurance Cover & Service Provision through Lot 2 as an alternative to the DfE Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA): * Employers liability * Professional indemnity * Public and products liability * Governors and Officers liability * Motor Vehicles * Motor occasional business use * Engineering damage * Statutory plant inspection services * Contract works for building projects * Business and student travel (including overseas travel) * Personal accident * Works of art * Property damage including glass, money, refrigerated/frozen food and property in transit * Computer equipment (fixed or portable) * Terrorism * Loss due to employee dishonesty or crime by third parties * Legal expenses * Employment practices liability * Hirers Liability * Libel and slander * Cyber risks

Options: 48 month(s) from the commencement date, with 36 initial month(s) and option to extend 1x12 month(s)

Lot 3: Academies and Schools All Covers not included in the Risk Protection Arrangement (RPA)

For members that have joined the RPA, this lot will allow any peripheral cover not included within the RPA offer: * Motor Vehicles * Motor occasional business use * Engineering damage * Statutory engineering plant inspection services * Contract Works for building projects * Cyber risks * Other specific covers as required
