Procurement for the Supply of Calibration, Inspection, and Repair Services for in service Radiological Detection and Identification Equipment
Notice Description
The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) (the "Authority") wishes to select and appoint a suitable contractor for the "Supply of Calibration, Inspection, and Repair services for in Service Radiological Detection and Identification Equipment." The SO15 EOD/CBRN unit use various handheld radiological detection and radio-isotope identification equipment in CT operations. This equipment requires annual calibration to ensure operational assurances are met. The initial contract is to cover 4 years with an option to extend by up to 12 months subject to cost negotiations. Quantity or scope: Calibration, inspection, and repair of up to 265 units of various radiological detection and radioisotope identification equipment: 111 (one hundred and eleven) Tracerco PED+ 20 (twenty) Thermo RadEye B20 13 (thirteen) Thermo RadEye SX 37 (thirty seven) Rotem RamGene 1 (MK2) 16 (sixteen) Georadis RT-30 2 (two) Ortec Detective X 14 (fourteen) Ortec Radeaglet 50 (fifty) Electronic Personal Dosimeters 2 (two) Neutron Monitor
