Notice Description
The University of Cumbria have an embedded HR/Payroll system which needs to be continued migrating onto a newer platform with significant time and financial savings

A HR/Payroll system is to also have functions of; A workable solution to replace manual Excel timesheets for hourly-paid staff Onboarding Case Management A modern reporting solution in PowerBi and the new Zellis Data Model A workable solution to online PPDR - the Talent and Performance module Training course administration
Options: One 12 month extension available
Procurement Information
A procurement route was identified in June 2023 via the CCS framework, desktop study was carried out and a new supplier was chosen. However when the contract was received there were inflated software costs added in, which was then not an economical action. With the software embedded trying to implement a system in under a year would not be possible as a full tendering exercise would need to be carried out. The incumbent supplier submitted costings to novate to the new package and was cheaper than the new supplier option. Attempting to migrate to any supplier was extremely high risk and likely to push beyond the July 2024 hard deadline
