Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WUTH) is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for Minor to Medium Works of its sites. It is envisaged that the Framework Agreement will be split into 3 Lots although this may be subject to change.

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WUTH) is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for Minor to Medium Works of its sites. It is envisaged that the Framework Agreement will be split into 3 Lots as follows although this may be subject to change:
Lot 1 - Minor / Reactive Works - Value band PS1 - PS30,000 (Inc. VAT)
Lot 2 - Minor / Small Planned Works - Value band PS30,001 to PS250,000 (Inc. VAT)
Lot 3 - Medium / Planned Project Works - Value band PS250,001 to PS1,000,000 (Inc. VAT)
Bidders may bid for one or more Lots.
The duration of the framework agreement will be twelve (12) months with the option to extend for a further twelve (12) months (maximum duration 24 months). The Framework Agreement will commence 1st April 2025.
Successful contractors will need to demonstrate the ability to provide and/or coordinate a wide array of skilled building & services trades. The following illustrates the types of works that may be required:
Minor / Reactive Works - Fitting of curtains and blinds, supply and fit of Digi locks, locks and keys, flooring, signage, electrical works, space reconfiguration and small refurbishment work, painting and decorating, removal of cupboards and fit racking. During the last 12 months there have been 514 minor/reactive works jobs.
Small Works - e.g., installation of and replacement of site wide mechanical and electrical systems, larger flooring or refurbishment works.
Medium Works - e.g., roof replacements, pipework replacement works, car park resurfacing, window replacements.
The Trust has a capital programme of works for 2025-26 and 2026-27 which is provided below as an indication of types of small and medium projects that may be required, this is very much subject to change, and subject to funding.

WUTH will be hosting a supplier open event on Monday 30th September 2024 for all those suppliers who have expressed an interest in the opportunity, sessions/s will be confirmed nearer the date. This is an opportunity for the Trust and suppliers to discuss and shape the Trust's requirements.
WUTH is an Anchor Institute (large public sector organisations rooted in and connected to their local communities), part of the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Anchor Institute Framework. We are also committed to develop and implement a Net Zero plan with the aim to be zero carbon by 2040 or sooner. We welcome expressions of interest from suitably qualified SMEs and VCSEs.
