Summary of the contracting process

This procurement process, initiated by Places for People Group Limited, entails the establishment of a Repairs and Planned Works Framework. The framework agreement spans both construction work, such as repairs and planned works, and the full component replacements of windows and doors. The agreement is set for a three-year term with the potential for two one-year extensions at the discretion of the contracting authority. The procurement process, currently in the tender stage, encompasses various regions across the UK including North London, South London, and additional postcode areas such as DA, ME, CT, TN, MK, SG, LU, HP, OX, SL, RG, AL, and others. Bidders can submit tenders until 20th November 2024, and the contract awards will be processed from that date forward.

This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities for construction and maintenance companies due to the significant nature of the work involved and the various regions covered, creating ample scope for large scale projects. Businesses skilled in repair and maintenance, especially those with experience in planned and responsive works, windows and doors installation, and those capable of handling large volumes of properties, will find this tender particularly suited to their services. The open procurement method underscores the competition, benefiting businesses with high-quality offerings and competitive pricing models.
