Notice Description
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is awarding a contract to MC Diagnostics for the provision of Alloseq Tx17 NGS HLA Testing Kits. Alloseq is a Trademark of CareDx who have signed a distribution agreement with MC Diagnostics, who are based in the UK. Alloseq kits are compatible with Illumina MiSeq sequencing equipment previously procured. As such, a negotiated procedure without prior publication will be followed and is believed to be justified under section 32(2) (b) (ii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 - 'competition is absent for technical reasons'.

The estimated total value for this contract is PS714,240, with a total maximum term of 18 months, made up of 12 months initial term with a further 6 month extension. This aligns to the equipment contract.
Options: Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is a able to extend the contract for a further 6 months.
