Notice Description
This notice is to make interested bidders aware of a forthcoming tender for the construction of a 3 Storey development consisting of office units, a multifunction room and an event space which can be used for various local community events and local businesses, on behalf of our client Kimberley Town Council.
Lot Information
Lot 1
This project has been designed to regenerate and stimulate the local economy of Kimberley by attracting inward investment from central Government. This will be delivered through the Levelling up Fund. The proposed development will enhance the existing facilities and provide extended community resources. The availability of a further space to hire and the ability to diversify by providing offices for hire will give Kimberley Town Council the opportunity to generate additional income and provide services and facilities to residents and businesses. The high quality of the improved spaces provided will also maintain the future use of the building for many years, the additional flexibility of the spaces will also allow the Council to adapt the services delivered to suit changing future needs. The site is located close to the centre of Kimberley, the existing site consists of the parish hall and 3 self-contained flats with associated parking and landscaping. The existing building currently provides office space for Kimberley Town Council, and a function room which hosts various local community events and meetings as well as regular classes and clubs. Link to planning permission - 24/00147/FUL | Demolish existing Parish Hall and construct a new 3 storey hub, including function rooms; event kitchen and bar, office spaces, and bike store | Kimberley Parish Hall Newdigate Street Kimberley Nottinghamshire NG16 2NJ The ITT will be for the build only with some elements of contractors design. The contract is to be JCT Intermediate Building Contract with contractr'sdesign.
