Carshalton Boys Sports College is a popular, oversubscribed 11-19 comprehensive school offering places to students of all aptitudes and abilities. Our students make exceptional progress and their academic attainment is outstanding. While these are important we also understand that the development of the whole child is crucial and this is a major emphasis in our school. We ensure that our students take PRIDE in everything they do whilst developing the skills and attributes that prepare them for all aspects of their lives. Further information can be obtained here: https://www.carshaltonboys.org. Sutton Grammar School, a thriving selective state school for 150 boys per year. Other students join the school in the Sixth Form; each year, we plan to take about fifty extra students (males or females) into Year 12. Our dedicated staff and inclusive environment nurture well-rounded, confident individuals with excellent academic results. We balance a robust curriculum with extracurricular programs, focusing on personal growth. Students thrive within this close-knit, caring community, which instils pride in them and their parents. The contract term being tendered is for three years, 1st September 2025 - 31st July 2028. There is an option for a further extension period for up to two additional years to 31st July 2030. The contract offers an excellent opportunity to review and propose enhancements to the current cleaning services at the Schools. This includes both core term time cleaning and periodic deep cleaning throughout the year. Both schools are keen to secure a high quality cleaning service whereby their students are able to enjoy excellence in education, supported by excellently kept facilities. The schools expect both a tightly managed service and high levels of productivity to be delivered by the cleaning staff at all times. The schools are also proud of their 'family ethos' and expects a management style delivered by the successful contractor that supports, encourages and develops the cleaning staff. The schools are not obliged to accept the lowest price submitted for this tender, rather they are keen to secure best value from this contract and to deliver best value to their students. Innovative and creative ideas as to how the cleaning services can be developed and improved, will be welcomed. Both schools seek a contractor that is keen to work in partnership and who will deliver to its highest abilities, at all times. The annual value of the current contract is: Carshalton Boys: PS220,000 (the total cost of cleaning per annum for the last contract year) Sutton Grammar: PS137,886 (the total cost of cleaning and day janitor per annum for the last contract year) Therefore the value of this contract is PS1,789,430 (total annual costs from the last contract year as above x 5 as this contract is for a maximum of 5 years). The contract shall be a fixed price contract with invoices raised monthly to the school. Additional requirements and information: *The Schools have a minimum requirement for a contractor's employers' liability and public liability insurance of PS5 million *The minimum annual turnover that your company must have achieved to be considered for this opportunity is PS1 million *There are not incumbent cleaning staff currently within the Local Government Pension Scheme at either school *Both Schools cleaning services are currently contracted to DB Services. *Please note that whilst the schools may choose the same provider as a result of this tender process, each school reserves the right to take its own contract appointment decision and each school will enter into its own contract with the successful contractor Additional information: To respond to this opportunity please click here: https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/98689QYSRH
