Notice Description

SHU plans to award a concession contract for incumbent supplier to operate fully furnished cafe at SHU that have 30 indoor seats and tables with the opportunity for outdoor seating near the University Green for the period of 10 years.

This opportunity was conducted through a Three-Stage Process. This approach has been taken to encourage applications for a variety of operators including SMEs and is intended to minimise the burden of the bidding process by only requiring more input if they are successful at an earlier stage. Those meeting the minimum Selection Criteria will be invited to submit a proposal. Following an initial evaluation of proposals, a shortlist of 3 operators were selected to enter the final stage to clarify and negotiate a Best and Final Offer.

Restaurant

The same details as in Lot 1 apply however: For the Restaurant opportunity (only) evidence of experience of successfully launching a new business of a similar nature is required. Additional information: The contract is expected to commence on 01 August 2025 for a period of 10 years but this is subject to negotiation
