Cambridge City Council has set ambitious aspirations for the improvement and transformation of its Civic Quarter in central Cambridge and are proposing to conduct an open tender in January 2025 to identify a Main Contractor as construction partner for the delivery of the projects. The Civic Quarter comprises 3no. schemes including the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Guildhall as the main civic and office space for the Council, the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Corn Exchange and the implementation of an updated vision for the Market Square and surrounding public realm.
