This framework is predominately to provide additional support to the Council's Highway department.The framework will be split into 2 lots:Lot 1 - Minor Civil Engineering Projects and Ironworks up to the value of PS25,000Lot 2 - Civil engineering projects between the value of PS25,000 and PS500,000

Minor Civil Engineering Projects and Ironworks up to the value of PS25,000
Lot 1 - Minor Civil Engineering Projects and Ironworks up to the value of PS25,000 The adjustment and replacement of carriageway ironwork/minor civils works in association with resurfacing and other surface treatments. This work tends to be planned rather than reactive type work. Reactive work is included within a separate framework. This will also involve some minor civil engineering projects and accommodation works, such as but not limited to kerb replacement, footway patching/resurfacing and minor drainage works, all to be carried out in conjunction with the carriageway resurfacing scheme. The majority of this work is covered under Series 500 and 1100 of the Schedule of Rates (Appendix A), and includes kerb replacement precast kerbing and channels, adjusting ironworks and minor drainage works and some minor areas of footway construction and resurfacing. Additional information: The estimated value for this Lot is between 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 GBP over the full 4 year period, although at framework level a value of up to 4,000,000 GBP is allowed.
Renewal: 3 - 6 months prior to the final expiry date.
Civil engineering projects between the value of PS25,000 and PS500,000Lot 2 - Civil engineering projects between the value of PS25,000 and PS500,000. Scope covers any of the following within the Schedule of Rates (appendix A): Carriageways - including reconstruction, resurfacing, anti-skid surfacing, patching, crack repairs and sealing. Footways - including reconstruction, resurfacing, patching, crack repairs and sealing. Kerbs, Channels and Edgings. Drainage. Fencing, Railings and Safety Barriers. Provision and Installation of Signs, Street Nameplates and Street Furniture. Road Markings. Emergency Works including out-of-hours emergency call outs. Construction of Footway Crossovers. High-profile paving or major junction works. Additional information: The estimated value for this Lot is between 4,000,000 and 6,000,000 GBP over the full 4 year period, although at framework level a value of up to 12,000,000 GBP is allowed.
