Summary of the contracting process

Lincolnshire County Council has recently completed the procurement process for the "Open Framework for the Connect to Work Programme" across Greater Lincolnshire. This framework aims to support people who are economically inactive due to health conditions or disabilities, helping them back to work. The procurement was conducted using an open procedure, and the framework was awarded on 26th May 2026, with a contract period from 27th May 2026 to 31st October 2029. The programme supports multiple public sector bodies, including Lincolnshire County Council, North East Lincolnshire Council, and North Lincolnshire Council. The framework involves recruitment services under the industry category and is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). The framework's completion has been marked by multiple active contracts awarded to various suppliers under different lots within the region of UKF3, United Kingdom.

This tender offers significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for companies specialising in recruitment services, employment support, health, and skills integration. Businesses of varied sizes, including SMEs and large organisations, have been involved in the procurement process, making it an attractive opportunity for diverse market players. The framework has been structured to allow both direct awards and further competitions, ensuring a dynamic participation landscape for providers, including those new to the market. This opens a pathway for companies with expertise in supporting economically inactive individuals to thrive by delivering services across the Greater Lincolnshire region under this government initiative. The programme also emphasises collaboration with healthcare and support groups, which could benefit companies that are capable of integrating a multidisciplinary approach into their service offerings.
