Grounds maintenance services for Schools and Corporate Properties in Gloucestershire
Notice Description
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) is establishing a Grounds Maintenance Services Framework covering 141 corporate properties and schools across Gloucestershire. The framework will also be open to other public sector bodies, including Gloucester City Council, NHS organisations, schools outside Gloucestershire, and district authorities. The current contract expires 31 March 2026. The new framework will run from 8 December 2025 to 7 December 2029, with an estimated total value of PS5,305,557. It comprises six geographical Lots: Lot 1 - Tewkesbury & North Cotswolds Lot 2 - South Cotswolds Lot 3 - Forest of Dean Lot 4 - Gloucester Lot 5 - Cheltenham Lot 6 - Stroud Each Lot will enable call-off contracts of up to 7 years, starting 1 April 2026 and ending 31 March 2033.

Planning Information
Gloucestershire County Council are looking to procure the grounds maintenance services of its schools and corporate estate this year. Our current arrangements end on the 31st March 2026 and we are currently planning the way we structure the contract to encourage bidders. I’d like to invite you to an informal drop-in session at Shire Hall on Wednesday 26th March for you to discuss this with us any time between 10.30am and 4.00pm. It will provide us with an opportunity to see how many of you are interested, and also to understand the changes required to reduce barriers you may have faced in past procurements exercises. If you cannot attend in person, please do contact me by email or phone. On arrival please telephone 07770 522954 for access into the building.
