Engineering Inspection Services II (including insurance)
Notice Description
YPO are looking for Providers to be appointed onto an Open Framework for the provision of Engineering Inspection Services (including insurance). This Open Framework is designed to meet the needs of all public sector Contracting Authorities, by establishing an agreement for Providers to deliver Engineering Inspection Services (including insurance) to YPO customers either on a contractual basis or via customers' appointed brokers.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Options: Any resulting Framework and Call-off Contract shall be deemed to cover any service that can be supplied by the successful Tenderer(s) over the life of the Framework and Call-off Contract within the scope of Engineering Inspection Services.
Renewal: Open Framework 1: 01/04/2026 - 31/03/2028 Open Framework 2: 01/04/2028 - 31/03/2030 Open Framework 3: 01/04/2030 - 31/03/2034 The maximum duration of all Frameworks in the Open Framework scheme will therefore be eight (8) years, from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2034 (subject to an annual review, incorporating price re-establishment and KPI performance).
Planning Information
YPO intends to hold pre-engagement sessions between 10 March - 17 April , 2025. We require feedback from suppliers on the previous solution as well as potential new Type A UKAS-accredited engineering inspection suppliers, to: expand the scope, review Terms and Conditions, discuss market conditions, discuss price element, review options for delivery of Social Value, discuss potential routes to the market and discuss mechanisms for call-offs in order to ensure the new iteration is fit-for-purpose for public sector customers to call off. Sessions will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) or in-person, depending on the availability and capacity of the supplier. Please contact James Maclean at insurance@ypo.co.uk to request the Request for Information (RFI) document and to arrange availability for a PME session.
