Notice Description

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking to appoint a Contractor to the replace a passenger lift at Darland High School, Rossett, Wrexham LL12 0DL. The existing lift is to be replaced in its entirety with a completely new traction MRL installation, including associated building & electrical works. Life expectancy: 15 Years. Lift Operation: Passenger Machine Room-Less (MRL) Lift. The new lift components shall utilise open protocol systems, no closed systems will be considered. These works can only be carried out during the school summer closure 21/07/2025 - 29/08/2025. The appointed Contractor will be expected to appoint an appropriate Structural Engineer. Work will be let under JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor's Design 2024.
