Notice Description
South Norfolk Council ("SNC", "the Council") wishes to procure a suitably experienced Contractor to construct a roundabout on B1135 Wymondham Road and on-site link road to provide access to the new Hethel Technology Park and open-up Lotus employment land.
Planning Information
South Norfolk Council (SNC) is inviting contractors interested in an opportunity to deliver highways infrastructure in Hethel, Norfolk to participate in Preliminary Market Engagement. The proposed works contract will open up employment land comprising a new roundabout and link road. It is intended to procure the contract through the Competitive Flexible Procedure subject to the Procurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024. SNC invites contractors who would like to participate in the market engagement to express their interest by emailing procurement@eastsuffolk.gov.uk. You can also register on In-tend for free via the link provided in this notice: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/eastsuffolk Contractors will have access to a presentation which includes the scheme background and overview, key project constraints, procurement process and key dates. If you have any questions about the opportunity, please submit these to procurement@eastsuffolk.gov.uk by 4th April 2025 5pm. Questions will be anonymised and the responses sent to all contractors who have expressed an interest by 11 April 2025. A copy will also be included in the tender pack for all prospective tenderers once published. You do not have to participate in the PME stage to submit a tender. SNC requests that each organisation expressing an interest in this opportunity as a response to this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice, states whether they intend to participate in the procurement (Tender Notice estimated to be published on 9th May 2025).
