25030 E Procurement System
Notice Description
Cambridgeshire County Council is currently part of a joint contract with the City other Districts in the County for its e procurement system. The joint contract is currently held by Cambridge City Council and ends on 25th February 2026. On behalf of: * Cambridge City Council * East Cambridgeshire District Council * South Cambridgeshire District Council * Huntingdonshire District Council * Fenland District Council In addition, Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority will be named in the procurement. The Council (with its partners) is seeking to procure an e procurement system which is compliant with all requirements of the Procurement Act 2023, the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 (PSR) and Public Procurement Regulations 2015 (PCR), enabling publication of relevant notices and end to end management of procurement projects.

Lot 1
Options: The contract will allow for additional modules to be added on a per Authority basis. These modules cover Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Register and E-Auction functionality. The contract also covers options for integration with ERP software and any additional training requirements during the contract period.
Renewal: There is the potential for contract extensions of up to 2 years (2 x 1 year extensions), depending on both the success in achieving the required outcomes and availability of further funding.

Alternatively, you can access the direct link to market engagement opportunity here: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=33c02c6c-300a-f011-8136-005056b64545 The market engagement response document is in the form of a Microsoft Forms questionnaire contained with the Market Engagement Document on the e-procurement portal Responses are to be submitted through the Microsoft Form using the link below. The deadline for responses to be received is 12:00 on Friday 25th April 2025 The Council may at its discretion ask further questions of Suppliers that provide a response to the questionnaire and reserve the right to hold presentations with those who respond to the initial engagement. This process does not form part of the formal tender procedure to follow and no supplier shall be disadvantaged by either taking part or not taking part in this process.
