This process was conducted through an open, competitive flexible procedure as part of the goods procurement category, aiming to support the NHS Blood & Transplant's Red Cell Immunohaematology function. The contract, valued at GBP 2,434,456 gross, will run from April 2026 to March 2033. The award announcement was made on 18 February 2026, with a scheduled contract signing expected by 19 March 2026.
