Contract Summary
The purpose of this Planned Procurement Notice (PPN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity to replace the existing planking on the Waterbus Jetty at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport and carry out repairs as necessary. The Jetty is one of the primary entrances to the Submarine Museum and sees a large number of visitors pass across it throughout the year. It is an integral part of the visitor experience, and this will need to be taken into consideration when undertaking works. However, this will be mitigated by works taking place during the quietest time for footfall of visitors and waterbus journeys. Once market engagement is complete, the tender is proposed to be issued around July, all those who register their interest as part of the PPN will be notified. The tender opportunity is due to be advertised in July 2025 and Contract Award should be expected in October 2025. Dates within this advert relating to advertisement and award are subject to change. Site visits are available which details are available within the PPN itself. Suppliers interested in participating should register their interest by Midday of Monday 12th May 2025.
