Summary of the contracting process

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, located in London, is in the planning stages of renewing its Net Zero Carbon Delivery Framework, a service procurement initiative centred on low and zero carbon technologies. The preliminary market engagement for this initiative is currently scheduled, with an important engagement meeting to be held on 28th April 2025. Suppliers interested in participating have until 24th April 2025 to confirm their attendance. This opportunity falls within the energy sector, specifically focusing on energy and related services, with a geographical scope across the United Kingdom. The procurement framework will be active from January 2026 and is planned to run until January 2029, with a possible extension until 2031.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in energy efficiency, solar energy, and related technologies. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) as well as Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs) stand to benefit from the framework agreement, offering services and solutions that support public sector bodies in meeting the UK’s net zero targets. Companies that are experienced in energy services, solar installation and consultancy services in energy efficiency will find themselves well-positioned to compete in this tender. Participation in the market engagement webinar is encouraged to gain insights into the tender's requirements, though it is not mandatory for future tendering.
