The City of Edinburgh Council awarded a contract for a service to receipt, treat and compost garden waste at the Finance and resources Committee on 24th June 2025. The proposal of a five year term call off from a Scotland Excel Framework which the Council is a member organisation, provides optimal operational certainty in service and price taking account of the whole life cost related to this service model.

Options: Extension options up to five years at Council discretion.
