WAS-OJEU-57361 - Vehicle Tail Lifts Service & Repairs
Notice Description
NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership - Procurement Services on behalf of The Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust is seeking a provider of Vehicle Tail Lift Services to perform statutory thorough examinations, routine service work and effective repairs as required. Due to the large geography of the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust's area of operation the Service is being tendered in four (4) geographical lots: * Lot 1 - North Wales * Lot 2 - Central Wales * Lot 3 - South Central Wales * Lot 4 - South East Wales The work within the scope of this procurement is a regulatory requirement, under Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). This is a specialised service and can only be provided by organisations certified to perform this service. The company must ensure that the person carrying out the thorough examination has such appropriate practical and theoretical knowledge and experience of the lifting equipment to be thoroughly examined as will enable them to detect defects or weaknesses and to assess their importance in relation to the safety and continued use of the lifting equipment.
Planning Information
This notice is being issued to inform the market of an upcoming tender opportunity and to invite initial expressions of interest and feedback. The market engagement phase will run from 9th May 2025 – 19th May 2025, during which time interested suppliers are encouraged to register their interest and submit any preliminary questions or suggestions. All formal procurement activities will be conducted through the eTender Wales portal: www.etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk The Invitation to Tender (ITT), including full specification and evaluation criteria, will be published in due course. How to Engage Suppliers are encouraged to respond to this engagement notice to help shape the final tender and ensure that the Trust is aligned with market capabilities and innovations. Participation at this stage is voluntary and will not affect eligibility to bid on the future tender. WAST looks forward to engaging with experienced and capable providers who are interested in supporting the essential Tail Lift Service & Maintenance.
