Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) has bought dry-wipe boards and whiteboard markers and pens for its warehouse-stocked range, serving mainly education and local authority customers. Contract values are £600,000, £800,000, £1.7 million, £600,000, £250,000, £250,000, £15,000, £170,000, £255,000 and £50,000 respectively, in the same order as the awarded categories above. Contracts were signed between 17 February and 1 March 2026. Their periods generally run from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2028, with options to extend; maximum periods run to February 2030. YPO have appointed suppliers onto a Framework Agreement following a Competitive Tendering Procedure for the supply of Dry Wipe Boards and Whiteboard Markers for use primarily in the education market and local authority sectors. This Framework is designed to meet the needs of YPO by establishing an agreement for Suppliers to deliver stock into YPO's distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Lot Information

YPO Branded Whiteboard Markers and Pens

Options: Any resulting Contract shall be deemed to cover any item that can be supplied by the successful Tenderer(s) over the life of the Contract within the scope of the lot awarded.

Renewal: The Framework Agreement will cover the period from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2028 with two options to extend for an additional 12 months. YPO are looking to start pre market engagement for the provision of Whiteboards and Whiteboard Marker/Pen ranges to be stocked in the YPO warehouse in Wakefield (WF2 0XE) for delivery to our customer base. All items will be stocked in YPOs warehouse and there will be no direct delivery to customer items. YPO intends to close the preliminary market engagement by the 06/06/2025. Eg pack sizes /environmental claims (this may include customer feedback you have to support). YPO require detail of ranges that can be offered by providers for specific markets Eg whiteboard markers/pens and drywipe boards across YPO Branded and non-YPO Branded. (YPO require providers that can offer full ranges of product to meet the needs of the customer base from Early Years through to Secondary and higher education and non-education) YPO are looking for your social value / sustainability offering to support your product ranges. YPO reserves the right to not commit to advertising this tender if we do so wish.
