University of Greenwich is embarking on a multi-phased data and reporting transformation programme, to modernise its approach to data and reporting. Our goals are to: 1. Make data-driven decisions with greater assurance and trust in the insights data 2. Reduce the time taken to manually produce insight and enable the workforce to be more efficient 3. Grow the overall level of institutional data literacy and improve our culture toward data, reporting and insight 4. Establish a modern cloud-based unified analytics platform to support our current and future needs. 5. Modernise our on-premise Reporting Platform (Business Objects), Processes (Data Services, PL/SQL) and Enterprise Datawarehouse (Oracle) 6. Enhance data governance to improve data quality, findability, accessibility, lineage, reusability and security etc. We are looking for a partner who can bring the experience, expertise and skills in supporting the modernisation of a UK Higher Education institution, with experience in delivering Microsoft Fabric, Purview and Power BI as a modern, enterprise grade data and reporting solution. We are seeking a partnership to enhance our internal skills, capabilities, and resource level through a multi-phase program. In the first 18-month phase, the focus will be on enabling the new technology environment, demonstrating value through an initial use case, and developing a methodology for migrating our legacy data, processes, and reporting.
