All Contractors installing fire stopping products and installing doorsets or carrying out any form of remedial works to fire stopping products or certified doorsets shall be a Competent Person. The term 'Competent Person' shall mean a person or business who has demonstrated to a third party that they have the expertise, skills and commitment to the professional installation of passive fire protection and fire doorsets and their products.
