ESCC DR - East Sussex Domestic Abuse Support Service
Notice Description
East Sussex County Council are awarding a new contract to a Strategic Provider to provide a county-wide service for the support of adults and their dependent children (under 18 years old) who are experiencing medium/high risk domestic abuse and to deliver the service within the Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) statutory guidance as outlined in the Victim and Prisoner Act 2024. The contract commencement date for the initial contract period is 1st April 2026.

East Sussex County Council is to launch a tender process for the East Sussex Domestic Abuse Service (ESDAS). As part of this process, we are holding a virtual Market Engagement Event on Thursday 14th August 2025 at 9.30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. via Microsoft Teams being open to all those who would have a keen interest in bidding for the tender opportunity. An MS Teams meeting link to attend the event will be shared to those who have registered. To Register to attend the Event please email: stacey.criddle@eastsussex.gov.uk Please include your organisation name and the names, job titles and email addresses of those due to attend. We request if you can limit your organisations representation in the meeting to no more than two people to ensure the meeting event is a manageable size. At this meeting we will outline: • The financial envelope • The key expectations within the specification • Route to market • Question & Answers
