Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process for the Planned Investment Works Framework is initiated by Magenta Living, based in Birkenhead, United Kingdom. This significant project falls under the construction industry category and entails planned investment works in various residential properties, including homes and care living schemes. The procurement, currently in the award stage, involves multiple lots such as energy efficiency measures, roofing, kitchens and bathrooms, internal and external repairs, and more. The procurement follows an open procedure, with contract periods starting on 1st July 2026 and ending on 30th June 2030. Key upcoming dates include the end of the standstill period on 8th June 2026, while the contractual agreements are scheduled for signature by 22nd June 2026.

This extensive framework provides diverse opportunities for business growth, particularly for construction companies, suppliers of building materials, and businesses specialising in domestic and commercial installations. Small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as larger firms, can compete effectively, given the varied scale of projects and the structured lot system, which allows room for specialised expertise in different aspects of construction and maintenance. Engaging in this framework can provide businesses with stable, multiple-year projects, reinforcing market presence, enhancing capability, and fostering industry partnerships.
