Provision of a Diploma in Planning for NHS Wales
Notice Description
NHS Wales are seeking proposals to design and deliver a part time post graduate qualification (diploma) in health planning for NHS Wales . This programme must be based on the latest research and combine theory, up to date knowledge of the NHS in Wales and the future challenges facing leaders in the public sector in Wales. It is proposed that there will be 25 participants per annum for years 1 and 2. It will be the responsibility of the health boards and project manager to ensure that the total number of participants on each module remains 25 in years 1 and 2. In the optional years the NHS Organisations are committed to recruiting up to a maximum of 25. Participant numbers are non-committal, and the Contract Authority cannot guarantee minimum Participant numbers. An additional place is available and could be allocated as an extra to an NHS organisation including Joint Commissioning Committee (JCC), a national organisation a Welsh Government or local authority with a close working relationship to NHS planning. The Contracting Authority acts on behalf of itself, Local Health Boards, and other NHS Trusts (including but not limited to Velindre University NHS Trust)/Special Health Authorities within Wales.
