Notice Title

Committee Room Refurb

Notice Description

Committee Rooms in Parliament are used for committee proceedings, general meetings, presentations and videoconferencing/hybrid working. The level of technical facilities varies across the rooms, with many systems now over 20 years old. Parliament carried out a trial of new technical facilities for a committee room in 2019, followed by the refurbishment of two committee rooms. This was followed by an urgent replacement of systems in seven other committee rooms due to the pandemic to allow remote contributions for hybrid meetings.
