Supply Chain Coordination Limited ("NHS Supply Chain") is developing a Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Framework. NPWT includes negative pressure pumps, and the associated consumables as used throughout various departments of Acute trusts and in community settings. The framework agreement is for the supply of negative pressure wound therapy. Therapeutic techniques using vacuum dressings and equipment to promote healing in chronic and acute wounds via both purchase and rental options. The lot structure is as follows; Lot 1: NPWT Pumps, Rental and Pump Accessories Lot 2: NPWT Consumables The Authority estimates that, in the first twelve months of the Framework, the total value of purchases under it will be around PS24,360,177. For the full 48-month term, the anticipated value is around PS113,055,580 excluding VAT.. These values are approximate only and are based on the most recent historical usage information, with a forecasted level of usage. Lot Information

NPWT Pumps, Rental and Pump Accessories

This lot encompasses the provision of NPWT pumps and associated accessories intended to facilitate wound healing through the application of controlled sub-atmospheric pressure. NPWT is widely utilized to promote wound closure by secondary intention, effectively removing exudate and encouraging granulation tissue formation, which supports cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. Additionally, NPWT may be employed to reduce the risk of surgical wound dehiscence in patients identified at risk.

Options: Successful suppliers are able to enter into a free on loan agreement directly with the customer 'who is not NHS Supply Chain' for the rental of NPWT pumps on a free on loan basis.

NPWT Consumables

This Lot is for the consumables used in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy pumps.

Options: A Set Purchase Plan allows trusts to obtain Negative Pressure Pumps on a 'free-on-loan' basis, covering both large and portable devices without the upfront costs. This plan is an direct agreement between the Trust and the Supplier, where a specified value for the purchase of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy consumables is committed. In return, the trust receives both large and portable devices free on loan.

Planning Information

To support the development of a comprehensive strategy and set of requirements, Supply Chain Coordination Limited (“NHS Supply Chain”) (the Authority) is initiating a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME). This process is intended to consult the market and identify potential suppliers capable of meeting the emerging goods and services requirements. Through this engagement, the Authority aims to understand supplier capacity, explore opportunities for innovation, and ensure all interested parties are informed of this opportunity. The Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) will cover the following activities: Interested suppliers are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via the Jaggaer system. A further opportunity for supplier engagement is planned in the form of a webinar, currently anticipated for September/October 2025 (subject to change). Invitations will be extended to all suppliers who have expressed interest in the Preliminary Market Engagement (PME). Suppliers who express an interest will be provided with the draft specifications and product list, which are currently under development. This is expected to take place in December 2025 (STC). The Authority will invite feedback and assumptions based on these documents. We will maintain regular dialogue with incumbent suppliers and engage with potential new suppliers who express interest, initiating exploratory conversations to understand their offerings and assess alignment with our requirements. These conversations will take place via Microsoft Teams, telephone, or face-to-face meetings, depending on suitability and availability. Suppliers who have expressed an interest in this opportunity are encouraged to engage with us via these means.
