Key dates include the signature date of 13th April 2026, with the contracting authority being EEM itself, overseeing the conclusion of the tender awarded on the 20th of May 2026.

This framework offers expansive opportunities for businesses involved in lift installation, maintenance, and mobility solutions, particularly SMEs and larger businesses specialised in these areas. Companies like LIFT AND ENGINEERING SERVICES LIMITED, MIDLAND LIFT SERVICES LIMITED, and MORRIS VERMAPORT LIMITED are a few of the suppliers actively involved, indicating a competitive environment for contractors in this industry. It caters broadly to the needs of multiple public sector entities, including local authorities, NHS bodies, and educational organisations, highlighting demand for reliable partners who can offer cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable lift and mobility solutions. Firms with capabilities in installing, refurbishing, and servicing lifts—as well as providing mobility solutions like stairlifts and hoists—will find this framework an advantageous avenue for growth and collaboration with the public sector.
