Notice Description
- Placemaking and urban realm improvements. - Improvements to signal technology at junctions, incorporating bus priority. - New pedestrian crossings serving desire lines. - Footway improvements including refurbishment and widening. - Formalisation of car parking and parking controls. Traffic calming/speed reduction measures and 'behavioural deterrents'. - Aesthetic enhancements including planting, street furniture and other attractive roadside landscaping. - Improvements to resting places and small 'pocket' parks. - Implementation of one-way systems. - Informal street / plaza areas to create open pedestrian-friendly streetscapes.
