Summary of the contracting process

Aster Group Limited, a housing association based in Devizes, United Kingdom, is currently in the planning stage of its procurement process, which involves a strategic alliance for asset management. The project, aimed at ensuring safe and energy-efficient homes across the south of England and London, includes an investment of £680 million by 2030. Key dates for this procurement involve hosting an online webinar for Preliminary Market Engagement on 17th June 2025, with registration required by 16th June. The procurement is centred on construction work, with a focus on works starting from 1st April 2026 and planned until 31st March 2031, covering areas such as Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset, London, Devon, Cornwall, Oxfordshire, West Sussex, and Gloucestershire.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction and asset management, particularly those with experience in energy efficiency improvements, maintenance, and renovation works. The planned works include a broad scope, such as replacements of roofs, doors, kitchens, and bathrooms, as well as upgrades to electrical systems, heating, fire safety measures, and more. Given its diverse geographical spread and substantial investment, the tender is suited for companies looking to expand their operations and innovative solutions. The alliance offers a consistent and integrated pipeline of work, promising faster decision-making and opportunities to collaborate with Aster's in-house organisation. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to partake, as the procurement process supports sustainability and long-term alliances. Businesses that can demonstrate expertise in value-driven delivery and environmentally responsible practices will find this to be an attractive prospect for growth and partnership.
