Notice Description

The London Borough of Sutton is conducting this procurement using the Competitive Flexible Procedure (2 Stage) in accordance with the requirements of The Procurement Act 2023 (section 20(4)). The key stages of the procurement are: Participation Stage (Stage 1) Tender Stage (Stage 2) The scope of the service required is set out in this specification as well as in the schedules. Part 1 Details the overall requirements and standards for the service as well as key requirements, standards and performance measures, which appertain to the contract for arboricultural maintenance for the Borough. It is designed to provide an overview of those elements that are essential to its good management, and to give a broad indication of the service required from the perspective of the customer. Part 2 Specifies in detail what should be done to achieve the standards specified in part 1. Please refer to the tender documents for full details.

Renewal: The Authority proposes to enter into a contract with the successful Tenderers ('Potential Supplier') for a duration of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years upon agreement only. The anticipated contract commencement date is 1 April 2027.

PLEASE NOTE: Attendance to a one to one session is optional. If you prefer, you may just complete the questions in the document attached in the attachment session of the portal and submit it via Procontract messaging on the portal. All providers are requested to first review the DRAFT specification for the Provision of Arboricultural Maintenance of Trees and then provide responses to the questions set out in the document titled "SOFT MARKET TESTING - Provision of Arboricultural Maintenance of Trees" This document also includes the link to the calendar slots PLEASE SUBMIT THE COMPLETED DOCUMENT VIA THE MESSAGING SYSTEM ON THE PORTAL
