Notice Description
The London Borough of Sutton has commissioned an Infrastructure Support Service for Charity, Community and Faith Organisations. Charity, Community and Faith Organisations across the borough play a vital role in supporting vulnerable residents, bringing communities together to make a difference in their local areas, and ultimately ensure Sutton is a place where people from all backgrounds feel included and get on well together. Maintaining an active and resilient voluntary and community sector is key to delivering on the Council's objectives as set out in the corporate plan, Ambitious for Sutton. These 'infrastructure services' include, but are not limited to, areas such as: Volunteer recruitment; support with governance matters (e.g. support to become a registered charity or community interest company); delivering learning and development opportunities; advocacy; ensuring the needs of Charity, Community and Faith Organisations are championed as part of local and regional policy making.
