Summary of the contracting process

The Royal Mint is seeking a supplier for printed packaging, a goods contract covering the manufacture and supply of packaging products. Social value is included in the quality assessment, as are service delivery, continuous improvement and supply chain management.

Renewal: The contract will have an initial term of three years, commencing on 1 July 2027, with the option to extend for up to two further periods of 12 months each, providing a maximum total contract duration of five years. Extensions may be exercised at The Royal Mint's discretion, subject to satisfactory supplier performance, continued business requirements, value for money and compliance with contractual obligations. Any extension will be agreed and implemented in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
