        "description": "This framework is for Surgical Implants for Men's and Women's Health under which NHS Supply Chain is entitled to purchase supplies and/or services which it will make available for purchase by 1) any NHS Trust; 2) any other NHS entity; 3) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 4) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector. Only NHS Supply Chain can order from the Framework Agreement and enter into contracts under it. The Framework Agreement includes the following range of products: Breast Implants (including Sizers and Expanders), Nipple Implants, Calf and Gluteal Implants, Facial Implants, Chest Implants, Testicular Implants, Penile Implants. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS432,000.00 to in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term (including any extension options) will be in the region of PS2,728,000.00 excluding VAT.",

                "description": "This Framework Agreement establishes a mechanism for the supply of Surgical Implants for Men's and Women's Health to NHS organisations and other eligble authorities. The Framework operates under the following principles: Route of Supply: This is a direct route of supply. To order products: Customers will need to obtain a quotation through our Category team to benefit from National Framework Agreement Pricing. Please quote the framework reference number when contacting your preferred supplier to ensure the correct pricing and compliance. Our Category team will then provide you with a Unique Reference Number (URN). This URN must be detailed on your purchase order to order the required equipment. Customers have two options to procure equipment via the framework. Trusts can either direct award if internal Standard Financial Instructions (SFIs) are followed or carry out a pricing exercise via the framework which will be managed by our Category team. Both options require trusts to request URN numbers from the Category team. Operational Requirements: Awarded Suppliers must also maintain compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 and/or ISO 13485: 2016 and/or Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP) which are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service or international equivalent. Social Value and Sustainability: Awarded Suppliers are required to maintain an up to date Carbon Reduction Plan. Awarded Suppliers are required to maintain an up to date Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment. Awarded Suppliers are required to maintain Modern Slavery compliance which is monitored via the MSAT tool. Performance and Governance: Regular review meetings will be held to monitor performance, including but not limited to complaints and remedial actions. This Framework includes the rights for termination for convenience, material breach, as well as escalation and dispute resolution processes.
