Street Lighting Column Structural Testing
Notice Description
The successful supplier will undertake a programme of structurally testing and inspecting the Council's Street Lighting Columns from a programme provided by the Council each year. The successful supplier must structurally test the columns using the "Loss of Section" method and either certify the columns as being structurally safe for a further stated period of time, or recommend that the column is removed immediately or when practicable. Warwickshire County Council is acting as the lead authority for a collaborative tendering process on behalf of the Council's listed below. A successful tender exercise will result in separate Contracts being entered into by each participating Council. The areas in the scope of this Procurement are as follows: * Warwickshire County Council (WCC) * Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC) * Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC). The administration of each of the above Contracts, including payment to the successful supplier for Services carried out in accordance with the applicable Contract, will be carried out independently by, and will be the responsibility of, the applicable Council procuring the Services in question. To clarify, this Procurement is for a single Contractor to deliver Street Lighting Column Testing across all 3 areas listed above.
